Veolia Offers Yard Waste Service
for Storm Debris Clean-Up
Although storms came through the Hazelwood area over the weekend, they weren't severe enough to warrant the issuance of a Storm Declaration. Reports collected from City staff indicated minimal storm damage caused by downed trees and debris.

MO Bottom Road Remains Closed
Missouri Bottom Road from Tulip Tree Lane to St. Louis Mills Boulevard is closed and will not be re-opened until the reconstruction project for this roadway is finished. The project is expected to begin in spring 2011 and be completed by the end of the 2011 construction season.

Community Wholesale Tire
Expands in Hazelwood
Despite the down economy, there is one business in Hazelwood that is expanding due to the growth in sales. Community Wholesale Tire Distribution, Inc., 9124 Pershall Road, is adding 61,000 square feet of space to its existing warehouse facility at a cost of $3 million dollars.
