Campers Experience Close Encounter with BIGFOOT®
Team BIGFOOT driver Jim Kramer was a guest speaker at the Hazelwood D.A.R.E./Risk Watch Camp, which started recently for 38 fifth, sixth and seventh graders. He brought with him the original BIGFOOT® monster truck, which may end up in the Smithsonian Institute some day for its role in starting a whole new industry of monster trucks.

Hazelwood's Aquatic Center Opens for Season on June 10
The City of Hazelwood's White Birch Bay Aquatic Center is opening for business on Thursday, June 10, at 12 p.m. The leak issues have been addressed and the water park officials intend to keep it open until Labor Day on September 6.

The Hazelwood Police Department's Volunteers in Police Services (VIPS) unit presented a check for $301,000 to Mayor Robinson at a recent City Council meeting to symbolize the amount of money it saved the City for donating time and services.

MoDOT to Install Flashing Signals on Lindbergh Boulevard
The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will install flashing yellow left turn signals along Lindbergh Boulevard (Route 67) at Chez Paree, Manresa and Washington/Charbonier in the cities of Hazelwood and Florissant.
