Parks & Recreation Fee Schedule

Resident Identification Card

A Current Resident card is required to obtain picnic permits, admittance to White Birch Bay Aquatic Center, to fish at Truman Pond and to receive resident rates for classes and room rentals.

Resident Identification Card (age 6 and over): $3.00
Replacement Identification Card: $3.00


Facility Usage

An annual facility usage fee is required, in conjunction with a current resident card, for access to the Community Center and Civic Center East amenities: gymnasium, weight room and game room.

Facility Usage Fee: Individual $45.00
Senior Citizen: $22.00
Facility Usage Fee: Family $100.00


Daily Usage Fee

As an option to the annual Premier Pass, residents may pay a daily fee to use the facilities. A current Resident Card is required.

Children/Seniors: $1.00
Adults (16 – 54 years): $2.00


Guest Usage

Hazelwood Residents are allowed one guest to accompany them to the two recreation centers. A daily guest usage fee is required for admittance to the facility. Guests, age 12 and over, must provide a photo I.D.

Non-Resident/Guest Fee – Child (6-15): $3.00
Non-Resident/Guest Fee – Adult (16 & Over): $4.00


Park Pavilion Reservations

Hazelwood Residents may reserve a park pavilion for the 2011 season. A 2011 Resident card is required. Resident Not-for-Profit organizations and businesses wishing to reserve a park pavilion must submit a written request to the Superintendent of Parks and Recreation. Park Pavilions may be reserved 11:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m.

A $25 reservation fee is required for all Park Pavilion Reservations. St. Louis County residents may reserve Howdershell and Musick Park pavilions ONLY. Reservations may be made 30 days in advance of the requested date, depending on pavilion availability. A $35 reservation fee is required for these non-resident Park Pavilion Reservations.

Hazelwood Fire Dept. Invites Community
to Join in Great Central U.S. ShakeOut

The Hazelwood Fire Department (HFD) is partnering with Hazelwood School District and the American Red Cross for the 2012 Great Central U.S. ShakeOut, scheduled for Tues., Feb. 7, at 10:15 a.m.  Not only is the HFD helping to educate school children about what to do when an earthquake occurs, but also the HFD is inviting all City employees and residents of Hazelwood to participate in this largest earthquake drill ever.

MO Bottom Road Remains Closed

Missouri Bottom Road from Tulip Tree Lane to St. Louis Mills Boulevard is closed and will not be re-opened until the reconstruction project for this roadway is finished.  The project is expected to begin in fall 2011 and be completed by the end of 2012.
