David Cox, Economic Developer

The office of economic development provides support to local busineses, business attraction, marketing and liaison with local developers. The office also provides information to citizens and others interested in Hazelwood's economy.

David is available from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM during the week.

Expands in Hazelwood

Despite the down economy, there is one business in Hazelwood that is expanding due to the growth in sales. Community Wholesale Tire Distribution, Inc., 9124 Pershall Road, is adding 61,000 square feet of space to its existing warehouse facility at a cost of $3 million dollars.

In an effort to provide Hazelwood residents and visiting guests with more added value for their summertime fun, the Hazelwood Parks and Recreation Division is offering reduced prices for season passes to White Birch Bay Aquatic Center.

Luxco Expands Warehousing Operations
to Hazelwood's Park 370 Business Park

According to the St. Louis Business Journal, Luxco has signed a five-year lease for 213,558 square feet of industrial space at 1619 Park 370 Boulevard.  HSA Commercial Real Estate, a Chicago-based brokerage and development firm, owns the building.
